SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 2001--Antrim Design Systems, Inc., the mixed-signal solutions company, announced that they have closed US$11 million in private placement financing from iVisionary, Matsushita, Mitsubishi, Brentwood Venture and others. Antrim provides mixed-signal intellectual property (IP), tools and services to the consumer electronics, communications and multimedia industries. (This is one of four announcements dated today regarding Antrim Series D financing.)

``The breadth of investors for this latest round of funding validates the industry's confidence in Antrim's approach to mixed-signal tools, IP and services,'' said Roy McGuffin, Antrim's president and CEO. ``Integrated circuit designers are facing a critical juncture in development without the solutions Antrim provides. We are pleased that our efforts have been so positively validated.''

It's refreshing to find a company like Antrim that is positioned to be the leader in mixed-signal solutions.''

Antrim plans to use the funds to expand its sales and marketing efforts, as well as grow its research and development activities for mixed-signal tools and IP.
